Canadians rally to defeat the leftist, socialist, separtist coalition. Halleluia! Rallies are being held all over Canada so Canadians can have a voice. Hopefully their voice will be heard. Dion, Layton, Duceppe are disgusting. Acting like they won the election. Spoiler. These deucebags lost the election. The conservatives won the election and deserved to win.
Sad that I have to work today. I would rather spend the time calling in to radio shows to show my support for the Conservative government.
This sneaking in the back door crap being hyped by the Coalition parties may be acceptable in third world countries, but not here, not in my Canada. I urge all Canadians to get out and rally against the coaliton. The election was held only this past October thats only about six weeks ago. The lust for power at the expense of Joe and Jody Canadian, because of selfish mean spirited , not right in the head, Leftists, Socialists and Separtists must be stopped.

My Canada The coalition sucks.
I have been waiting for something to blog about, and lo and behold, something horrible is about to happen to my country, my big island, my Canada.
My government is about to be toppled . A ridiculous coalition has been formed full of socialists, (NDP) separists, that would be the (Bloc) from Quebec and I cant forget to include the lefties, the (Liberals). I might be able to understand this if it was due to some far out legislation from the Conservatives here, but they did nothing of the sort. They did nothing wrong . They did try to put forth a bill in our house of commons that would in effect end the subsidies for political parties and save the taxpayers 8 million dollars. But they withdrew the bill because of the whinners from the left. Funny I have to pay my own way but useless politicians dont? So now the coalition of downright power hungry stupidity has decided to unite and bring down the Conservatives. It is really kind of scary considering, an election was just held this past October. The Conservatives won it fair and square, but the coalition just doesnt get it. The coalition parties will do anything to protect themselves, they dont give a rats ass about their constituents.
Sad, so sad. I never ever thought that I would live to see the day when Separitists, the Bloc Quebecois that have always wanted nothing more then to tear this country apart, would actually have a hand in running my federal government. Its just incredibly sick. As for the Liberals, the sight of any of them with their onslaught of lies and down right arrogance makes me not only angry but physically sick. The NDP, some one should put them all on a dinghy with a hole in it and send them to China, they would feel most at home there.
Our Governor General has some serious thinking to do. I hope that Canadians are sent back to the polls, so this pathetic coalition can be ended and Mr. Stephen Harper, My present Prime Mininister, and his Conservative Possie can get the majority government we need. There will be rally's held, hopefully they make a difference, Say a couple prayers for Canada, we really need them. The coalition must be terminated.

Evening has fallen here in Southern Ontario, and its cold, with wet snow falling. What better time could there be to get back online and rescue my dear old blog? It is so pleasant to no longer be missing in action. To all my internet and Helium friends I have truly missed all of you. I am over joyed to finally have a pc once again. It's like Christmass came a wee bit early. To all have a good evening and I will catch up with all of you sooner than later. Gotta jet. Deirdre

Yee Haw. The New Year.
Well the New Year has begun. For me I have high expectations for a great year. New things to do. Many New things to learn. New pursuits to start and enjoy. One of my first pursuits to follow through on will be the purchase of a new digital camera, sadly mine broke. I miss taking photo's. Another goal I have set is to learn a new language, maybe Spanish, maybe, Hebrew. Maybe a few sentences in both. Perhaps I may even try my hand at poetry, wait no, that would be too scary. To all who visit, I hope you accomplish all your goals for this New Year. May this year prove to be a great adventure for all of us filled with many blessings.

Let It Snow.
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow. Well the weather outside my abode is frightening, upwards of 3 feet of snow mixed with freezing rain and ice pellets. Nasty, downright nasty. Its 5pm Sunday and my drive way has yet to be plowed. Two cars are stuck in the middle of the complex parking lot. The neighbours cars have been stuck since early morning.
I am thankful that I am off this weekend, so no travelling for me
in this messy weather. There have been loads of accidents, people just dont know to stay off the roads unless its a true emergency.
I will admit that the 3 feet of blowing snow looks pretty from my window, it would be nice however if I could actually get out the front door, to find the front steps to shovel. Oh well just another Canadian winter.
Well I have done my best and have now forwarded the Snow Storm on to Quebec and the Maritimes, and a few of the North Eastern United States.
This winter storm is best viewed with snacks by a windowsill. Dont get caught in this one. Deirdre.

Aquas
Yesterday a beautiful young woman called Aquas age 16 years was found with only a slight pulse, was rushed to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. This young woman only lived about 30 minutes away from me in Missisauga.
This young woman was pulled off life support today and pronounced Dead. Aquas was apparently murdered by her father, for get this, not wanting to wear a Hajab, (muslim headress). Her father has now been officially charged with murder. Aquas was apparently brutally choked to death.
Imagine this, you are supposed to be able to live with rights and freedoms here in Canada. This girl was savagely murdered for wanting to live free.
This young girl's murder here affects us all. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends.
It's times like this I wish Canada had the Death Penalty. No real justice can be had here, because Aquas father, will probably get sentenced to 10 years and be out in 3 or 4 for so called good behavior.
Justice for Aquas? I don't think so. Hug your kids a little closer tonite and tell them you love them, and light a candle for Aquas. Deirdre

Just A Wee Bit Peeved
Well ever have times when you just have to give your head a shake? Well this would be one of those times for me. Tried to get a nice background for this blog......Tried for an hour. Didnt work. Tried to upload some new pics. No Luck. Silly computer decided all by itself to just shut down. Frazzeled.
Now having No Luck really sends my brain into hurtful spasms, as I am an Irish Canadian, and we are supposed to have the market on Luck. Must be some nasty Goblins running amuck in my pc. Goblins take your leave as I have now ordered some Pixie reinforcements.
Jadey if your out there I need your help with this background thing please and thanks. Some days are better spent in bed then written about. Leaning on my own understanding. Not a good thing. Amazing a pic finally appeared. Oh well theres always tomorrow to try again. Maybe this background thing will come to me in my dreams. I must take my leave and meditate on the copy and paste thing. Checking Out? Dont Even Think About It.
The other night I watched a documentary on Assisted Suicide. I honestly cant believe I watched the entire show. It was sad, shouldve come with a warning. A man who had a terminal illness for sometime, decided with his wife to fly to the Netherlands and end it all. They actually showed him accomplishing his goal. Terribly sad. I just dont understand. He knew his condition was terminal for a long time. Why did'nt he end his life on his own before the paralysis set into his hands? Instead he chose to spend a big chunk ofhis life savings, make his wife part of the process, seek out a doctor over seas to help him do a deed that is illegal, in his home country. Another couple on the show wanted to die together thru assisted suicide, but were fortunately turned down. He did have a heart condition, but was not terminal, and absolutely nothing wrong with his wife, she just didnt want to live without him.
On a side note. At the end of the show, apparently in the Netherlands now you can be assesed and granted Assisted Suicide for any reason at all now. That has saddened me greatly. No reason at all. Very Spooky. Very Sad. From my point of view it is also very wrong. Would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.
Kenje Kitty.
Let It Snow.

Well my area of the world got dumped on by Jack Frost and his demons last nite and today. First snow storm of the year here. Have a half foot of Snow....sorry for using such a bad word. With freezing rain to follow. To fellow bloggers its been a while. Along with working working and occasionaly sleeping i havent done much worth writing about. But after spending a good deal of time securing a new password and putting up with pc probs, I am back. Here's a pic of something i enjoy viewing instead of this awful snow.

M. I. A.
Well the calendar says that today is August 1. Missing in Action. That would describe me lately to a tee. Imagine actually being to busy to post on your blog. To those who visit me on a regular basis i apologise. I have spent way to much time in the real world working overtime lately and writing for helium in the contests held there. The only good news is i won in one of the contests. Been busy patting myself on the back for that too. Missing in action on my blog for a month, I can hardly believe it, but apparently its true. But it is good to be back hanging out in the blog realm. To all a good day. Deirdre.

Well look who showed up on Canada Day
Took my own Poll
Well it has been quite a week. While remembering to smile and greet those who crossed my path i noticed 2 things. One people really like a good morning hello and a smile. I was able to roughly greet about 6 people everyday this past week on my early morning walks to work. Thats 30 people, and it averaged out that 26 people smiled back and said hello. The other 4 who didnt smile and greet i will have to work on. Maybe hand them something special, like a flower or a peice of fudge. Then i pondered, its nice to do this smile and greet cause maybe its the one smile that may help other's get thru their day. So word up. Smile and Greet. Deirdre

What If
What If
What if i said good morning and gave a smile to the strangers who crossed my
path on the way to work today
Would they say hi, smile and perhaps brighten my day
What if i choose to see the silver linings, in every conversation today
Would it encourage anybody to do the same
What if i stepped it up a bit and went the extra mile for someone
Would they in turn find someone to be there for
What if at the end of the day i could look in the mirror of my soul and say well done , you have made a difference to someone
Would i have encouraged myself to try it again tomorrow Oh tomorrow, let me do better tomorrow, let the wisdom of kindness rule my tomorrows.
